Over 300 CCSD Transportation Employees Attend April 28 Appreciation Gathering Near White Middle School
Las Vegas, United States – June 17, 2026 / Richard Harris Law Firm /
LAS VEGAS, NV – The daily safety and academic access of students depends on a network of dedicated professionals whose contributions frequently go unrecognized. School transportation staff represent a critical link in that network, ensuring students arrive safely and on time each day.
Richard Harris Law Firm, a personal injury practice that has served Nevada for more than 40 years, partnered with the Clark County School District (CCSD) to host a Bus Driver Appreciation Event. Held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, the event recognized the transportation staff responsible for safely moving students throughout the Las Vegas Valley each school day.
The community gathering was organized to draw attention to the significant role that school bus drivers and logistics personnel play in supporting student well-being, consistent school attendance, and dependable regional infrastructure across Southern Nevada.
Community Collaboration to Honor Essential Staff
The appreciation event ran from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Russell Bus Yard, located at 1700 Galleria Drive in Las Vegas, directly across from White Middle School. Approximately 325 CCSD transportation employees attended the morning event.
Richard Harris Law Firm provided refreshments for all attendees as a gesture of appreciation. The event also received support from local community partners, including Pinkbox Doughnuts, Siegel Cares, and Lotus Broadcasting. The 97.1 The Point radio station broadcast live from the venue throughout the morning.
“Bus drivers and transportation staff are essential to the daily success and safety of our students,” said Richard Harris, Founder of the Richard Harris Law Firm. “This event is a small way to recognize their hard work and dedication to our community.”
A Longstanding Commitment to Southern Nevada
A focus on public safety and community well-being has long shaped the firm’s approach beyond its legal practice. While the legal team regularly assists individuals with insurance disputes, medical damages, and personal injury claims following serious accidents, the firm also maintains a consistent presence in regional community efforts.
Through support for education, first responders, and local nonprofits, the firm works to strengthen the Las Vegas community outside the courtroom. The partnership with CCSD reflected the firm’s ongoing commitment to recognizing the frontline workers who help keep local families safe on a daily basis.
