SINGAPORE, Aug. 19, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Bitdeer AI, part of Bitdeer Technologies Group (NASDAQ: BTDR), (“Bitdeer AI”), an emerging AI cloud service and AI infrastructure provider and preferred NVIDIA Cloud Partner, today announced further progress in the build-out of its AI Cloud infrastructure, including the deployment of NVIDIA GB300 NVL72-based capacity out of a data center in Malaysia.
Approximately 50% of A102’s capacity has been recently contracted ahead of energization. Bitdeer AI has entered into a 5-year long term offtake commitment with total expected revenue of approximately $400 million with a customer of high credit quality. As a general matter, Bitdeer AI seeks to structure its AI cloud contracts so that customer prepayments are expected to cover more than 50% of the associated capital expenditure.
Bitdeer AI is targeting 350MW of AI Cloud data center capacity to be delivered by the first quarter of 2028. Bitdeer AI develops data center capacity consistent with contracted demand, and funded through customer prepayments, operating cash flow, and financing secured against contracted cash flows.
The A102 facility is a liquid-cooled, multi-customer facility purpose-built for rack-scale NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 deployments, capable of delivering both GPU cloud services and data hosting from a single site. It represents 9.5MW of the 350MW target and is among the first of these sites to have contracted capacity. The Malaysia build-out advances Bitdeer AI’s strategy of developing high-density AI infrastructure in markets with strong power availability and proximity to fast-growing enterprise AI demand.
Demand for the remaining capacity remains strong. Bitdeer AI’s active pipeline for AI cloud capacity exceeding $2 billion, and the Company is in active negotiations on additional contracts covering the balance of the A102 facility as well as capacity at other sites. Contract value per megawatt varies with service mix, contract duration and site. Bitdeer AI expects the pipeline for AI Cloud capacity to increase in the next several quarters.
The contract is not expected to have a revenue impact in 2026. Revenue and associated costs are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2027, when services commence.
“Facility A102 is one of the first of several AI cloud sites we expect to contract and bring online, and the terms we secured here are a good indication of the discipline we apply to deploying capital,” said Michael G. Potter, Chief Financial Officer. “Roughly half of A102 is contracted ahead of energization, on a long term offtake commitment basis, with a customer of high credit quality. Our active pipeline for AI cloud capacity now exceeds $2 billion, or approximately 24.5MW. Together with our recently announced lease at our Tydal, Norway site, this reflects our ability to bring AI capacity online and contract it ahead of energization.”
“Our ability to execute is what sets us apart,” said Retainna Lin, VP of AI Cloud. “We entered a competitive process later than other providers and delivered ahead of them, enabling the customer’s business timeline and establishing our credibility as we pursue additional AI Cloud opportunities across our portfolio.”
